I think that phrase puts too much pressure on a single moment. Instead, I see weddings as a reflection of everything that’s already been and a glimpse into everything that’s still to come.
Because there’s so much life ahead. So many quiet mornings, inside jokes, hand squeezes, and adventures waiting to be lived. Your wedding day isn’t the peak.
It’s just the beginning of something even greater.
Before I ever picked up a professional camera, I was already in love with storytelling. My childhood was spent at Jasper Park Lodge, where the mountains stretched wide and the lake shimmered with the kind of stillness that makes you pause.
It was the kind of place where time moved slower—where stories lived in the in-between moments—bike rides down winding paths, sandy feet at the lake’s edge, laughter echoing through long summer evenings with friends and family.
This is where I learned to notice the little things—the way the sun caught the tips of the trees at dusk and quiet joy of people gathered together.
I started making videos in high school, filming the in-between moments, stringing them together on iMovie just so I could hold onto them a little longer. Then I filmed my first wedding in 2015. It wasn’t perfect. But it was real. And I remember thinking—if I could keep doing this, I’d be happy.
So I did.
This is where my love for memory began
I’m the kind of person who saves old letters, who keeps voice memos from friends just so I can hear their laughter again someday. I believe in the power of memory—the way a song, a scent, or a single frame of film can bring you back to a moment you never want to forget.

slow mornings with coffee
deep conversations
the kind of laughter that makes your ribs ache
And on your wedding day, I’ll be the one making sure you feel at ease, blending into the background while capturing the things that matter most.
I believe wedding films should feel the same way. Personal. Honest. Full of the kind of moments you want to relive over and over.
A few years ago, I realized that I loved teaching just as much as I loved filming. Now, I offer mentorships for wedding filmmakers who want to refine their craft, build confidence, and create work that feels like them. Whether you’re struggling with storytelling, editing, or the business side of things, I’m here to help—no gatekeeping, no ego, just real, honest guidance from someone who’s been in your shoes.
